Zelda remains on hiatus. I'm afraid of the embroidering for now so I will plan to finish her in the future after I have more experience under my belt. Also when I moved in the spring, my crown got almost totally destroyed so I'll probably completely remake it which is fine with me. SO for Halloween this year I'm Makin a sailor moon crystal cosplay! An easier cosplay and also the character I've wanted to be since I was a kid! I also lost 20 pounds in the last year so I'm excited to celebrate wearing my favorite characters costume!!!! ^^

Excited things are unfolding! Today my blue contacts arrived in the mail, and I bought my boyfriend's fabric for his Link costume. I have goals to have the base of the costumes done by halloween, and then to continue working out the details for the next Con in town, which will be my first ever =) I have started forming the shoulder armor/pauldrons, although I honestly haven't had much time to work on any of it due to school and other life events. I'm just enjoying the project. Cosplay is a lot of fun! Although, it is incredibly expensive...   By halloween I want all of the armor done. I don't intend to do embroidery until after halloween and

I will officially never try to make/style a wig ever again. Anyone who has ever made a wig, ever, is a rare talent in my eyes. I hate making wigs. I suck at making wigs. I don't have the patience to make wigs. I gently brush it, it gets tangly again. I brush it again, it gets tangly again. I start to become frustrated and brush it harder, it gets tangly. Then I RAGE FIT and attack it ferociously with the brush and ruin many of the fibers. Then I try to style it, and I realize I don't even know what that means. Do I style it like I would my hair? So I start to use bobby pins like I would if it was my real hair, but that's weird looking bec
